The Sisters into Soup ministry has cartons of soup available in the chest freezer in the church basement. It is available to anyone experiencing a hardship. It could be sickness, recovering from surgery, shut ins, or just having a bad day. No questions asked. If you are interested in helping or have questions, contact Pat Sorenson.

The Waushara/Waupaca Counties Foster Care "We Care Cases" Ministry is up and running.

If you have questions, please call or email Julie Attoe or Janine Christensen ~ THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to those who have helped to tie fleece blankets during Lent before and after Sunday services. These blankets will be donated to local Foster Care agencies. Many hands make a big job a small job, and it's fun to get to know your church friends better chatting while you're working!

There is a sign up sheet on one of the tables in the gathering area to help out with certain ministries. None of them take up much time, and if we have a list it is easier to make calls and spread the "wealth!" The ministries include:

  • Meals for house bound members
  • Cakes and help for funerals
  • Yard clean up at church and members who need help
  • Driving members to and from appointments
  • Home visits with members
  • Phone visits with members

Please call or email Julie Attoe if you can help or need one of these ministries.

Waushara County delivers meals to residents who are homebound. Please contact Valerie at (920) 787-0403 to see if you qualify.

We will be sending future newsletters out by email. If you wish, you may still pick up a paper copy in the fellowship area. If you want to continue to have a paper copy mailed to you, Please contact Debi Smith.

CAP Services in Wautoma provides free tax preparation to qualifying families in Waushara County. See the flyer on the bulletin board in the gathering area for more information.

Hospital Auxiliary is in need of used greeting cards. Used cards are recycled to make new cards. This is a wonderful opportunity for stewardship on many levels. Drop them off at church and they will get to their destination.

We are ALWAYS looking and thankful for volunteers to usher, and to host coffee hour on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in serving communion, please let Linda Duesterbeck know.
